Aluminum Fence

Going with aluminum in the steel city, are you serious? Yes, we know that a lot of people are a little bit on the fence about going with aluminum because you could just upgrade and go with a steel fence right? Well, we’re going to try and make the case of why it makes sense to stick with aluminum. If you’re already sold on aluminum there are probably a couple of things that you’re going to want to know about the way that we particularly build fences. That’s exactly what we want to talk about here.

Aluminum Fence Design

With any of the fences that we build it’s very important for us to understand the perimeter that we’re going to be covering. One of the things that we want to avoid on uneven terrain for example is having parts of the fence be too short and hence easy to climb. These are things that we’re going to be covering in the fence design part of the process. Where we can agree on the type of fence that you want us to build. Not all of the aluminum fences that we build have the same design. As we mentioned, the height of the fence is also something that we take into account.

Why Go With Aluminum Fences
Aluminum is a very durable material and in many ways, it’s easier to mold than iron or other types of fences. Therefore we’re going to be able to create unique designs with this material at a quicker rate than we would with maybe other types of fences. You’re getting this quality finish without having to break the bank for it. Of course, this is also an idea that a lot of people love. Give us a call or contact us not only to get a quote but to have us help you find the right type of fence for you.

How Long Do Aluminum Fences Really Last?
We’ve seen these types of fences stick around through multiple decades. It’s a material that is not going to rust. One of the biggest challenges is really knowing when to clean it or when to give it a nice layer of fresh paint. For the most part, though, it’s not a fence that is going to totally break down any time soon. They can hold up really well even with very little attention at all. When you see them start fading repairs are typically “easy”.

How Much Maintenance Do They Need?
Again, very little the biggest issue is dealing with it looking dirty. So cleaning them regularly with a common hose is a good idea. If it’s really dirty then maybe pressure washing it once in a while. The paint job usually lasts quite a bit. The main problem that we see in this area though is that folks sometimes end up using terrible quality paint or paint that is just not meant to be used in this type of material. What happens is the paint ends up starting to chip away.
